Florida Trip
Tomorrow we head back to Georgia. We have had a nice trip. Thursday we went to the Imaginarium, a children’s museum. Friday I met up with an old friend from Fort Lewis. We took our girls to the beach. Saturday E got to meet her Aunt Karen & Grandma Dot. Sunday we had a quiet day around the condo. And today we went to the beach.
I added some photos to our picture site. Albums I have added include Fort Myers Beach, Florida Trip, April 2006 & April 2005.
Benning Buddies
Last week I got a call that E’s waitlist for Benning Buddies came up. Today we registered her for it. We have an orientation the day after we get back from FL and she starts the next day (Thursday). She’ll be in the two-day a week program for three hours a day. Since the timing doesn’t easily allow me to get back up here and do errands or come home before needing to go back to get her, I’m going to plan to stay on base during that time (commissary, library, gym, etc.)
We’ve heard good things about it. I hope she likes it! I think it’ll be good for her. She loves being with other kids so much and we’ve had a tough time finding good playgroups in the area. the break for me will be nice too! :-) Jim will be in the field (meaning, gone overnights all week) for the bulk of the remainder of this school and then with his next schools too. So a break a couple times a week will be a good refresher!
I told her that she’d be starting “school” after we got back from Florida. We had to sort out that it wasn’t Dad’s school and it wasn’t SG’s school.
Ordering Prints
I figured out how to order prints from our Picasa site. The problem was an address that was slightly incorrect. I’ve now corrected the addresses over on the side and this link will take you directly there also. If you have the site bookmarked or you use one of the links I’ve posted in a previous entry, it won’t work.
From the main page, select an album. When you select a photo, there should be a ‘order print’ link over on the right. After adding all the prints you want, you can then order from PhotoWorks or Shutterfly. Both will give free prints for signing up with them. We have used PhotoWorks several times. We’ve been very pleased with them.

Goodness! I can’t believe I haven’t updated in over a month. Sorry!
Jim’s graduation date has changed. It was going to be July 3 and will now be June 28.
I’ve added a couple more albums to our picture site. They are older pictures, so you’ll have to scroll all the way down the page. There is a way to purchase pictures from this site but I’m having difficulty figuriing out HOW. Once I figure it out, I’ll post that information.
School is going well for Jim. They were in the field last week and he goes out again on the 14th.
Elizabeth & I will visit Jim & Wendy in Florida this month. We’re flying down on the 16th and returnning the 22nd.
We got new cell phones today. We will be transferring our current cell phone numbers to the new phones.
“Oh” she said, shaking her head, “rea(lly) hot, rea(lly) hot” as we walked outside into 97 & high humidity. A long summer ahead for all of us!!
Her babies remain the #1 play items but her Little People are coming up a close second. She spends much of her day playing with them.
