While waiting in line to meet Minnie the second time, Elizabeth started collecting leaves on the path. She wanted to give them to Minnie Mouse. As we got closer, Jim told her that he would hold them for her while we went up. She started crying that she wanted them for Minnie. I told Jim that it’d be fine but he didn’t act so sure. As we approached Minnie, Elizabeth placed the leaves in Minnie’s hand as I told Minnie that E found those for her. She gushed over them, stroked them gently and “said” thank you. She put them on the rail for safe keeping. Elizabeth beamed.
Later we were in Fantasyland. Winnie the Pooh & Tigger were greeting, so we got in line. Again, Elizabeth began to gather treasures along the path. She talked about which ones she was going to give to Pooh and which ones to Tigger. When it was our turn, she carefully handed the “gifts” to each of them. They gushed and Tigger bounced. Elizabeth beamed. After we finished there, we went to the Pooh play area right next to the meeting spot. As we were leaving there, Tigger & Pooh were also heading for a rest. The CM looked at us, stopped, reached back and picked up a few “treasures” and slid them to Pooh & Tigger. She then pointed in our direction. Pooh & Tigger waved at Elizabeth and held up their gifts. I commented to her that they still had her gifts and must be taking them inside so they wouldn’t get lost. Her smile couldn’t have gotten any bigger!
