Benjamin has eaten AND swallowed a few things this week! Yogurt, chicken and Doritoes, all given to him by Elizabeth. He was supposed to have his doctor appointment on the 13th but it was canceled. Its been rescheduled for the 27th.
Jim’s R&R got pushed back another month. From the first of June to the end of July. Blech. He is doing well, though. He is enjoying his job more than he expected. He really likes his new CO. There are also a lot more officers at his new base, so he has more people to hang out with when he’s not working.

The rain is starting to let up and the warm weather is quickly coming. We’ve had a few mid-80s days lately. Today is beautiful, so we’re headed back outside for a walk.
When Jim & Wendy planned their trip out, I started talking to Elizabeth about it. It was too far out for her to understand, so I tried to think of a way to help her visualize. It was about 40 days when I figured out a way–we traced each of our hands and feet and, each day, she tears one off. This is all that is left. Not much longer!
