I forgot to take any pics today so here’s a shot from last year. Is she not just the cutest thing EVER? I mean, I know everyone is partial to their own kids but come on, you can’t deny how cute MY child is!! LOL

What a wonderful day today is! Three years ago it was just Jim & I. Two years ago it was Jim & I plus one in-utero. Last year it was just E (formerly known as in-utero babe! LOL) and me. This year its all THREE of us!!
My babe had soda for the first time today. I made her a southern Hoosier babe with a bit of Big Red. (She’ll also be all set if we ever get stationed in Texas where they serve it from the FOUNTAIN!!!) YUM! Mostly it was her just sticking her tongue into the bottle of it and then smiling.
We also had our first choking incident today. She was eating cookie dough ice cream and, evidently, swallowed a bit of cookie dough. I was holding her when it happened. I reacted fairly quickly (more quickly than I ever thought I would), turned her down & over, pounded her back and was able to get it out of her pretty quickly. We were both a bit shaken.
Now we’re off to some event, I’m just not sure what. Either the Freedom Fest on base or over to Tacoma’s Freedom Fair.
