Happy Birthday, Mama

I think I’m set

I obviously still have formatting issues to finish (I’m having issues editing templates) but I think I’m finally moved over.  I got all my old entries & comments pulled here.  I still need to check my bravenet site to make sure I have everything saved before our hosting ends.  And I just found a thingy that will put Diaryland entries to a WP format, so I have that as a long-term project.

About

I am a 29 year old SAHmama to one little girl and two furbabies.  My husband of 6.5 years is active duty military.  We are currently stationed in the Northwest and will be moving to our next duty station, hopefully, in the next year.  We call both Indiana & Chicago home.

When I’m not busy chasing a toddler around the house or keeping up with household duties, I enjoy crafting, cooking, decorating cakes, making candy, exploring the beautiful Northwest, reading non-fiction & magazines, hanging out with friends and relaxing with my husband.

Pushed to my limit

And then she sleeps like an angel!! Totally convinced my daughter is already trying to see just how far she can push me before I lose my mind!! :D Last night E went down about 9:30, woke up at 12 & had a little snack (she wouldn't eat before she went to sleep so I knew she'd be up soon to eat), woke up at 4, went right back to sleep and then woke up at 7. I heard her playing in her crib but decided not to get up until she was no longer amused by playing with her feet & mirror. I was able to doze for another 45 minutes!

A good cry at my breastfeeing moms group yesterday & a good night's sleep makes it all seem SO much more bearable!!! Today we're off to the library to find a couple books on helping babies to learn to sleep longer.
