Take 2 Minutes on this Veteran’s Day

This war, all the other wars.  US soldiers, all the other soldiers.  A “good” war, an “unjust” war.  Fighting, peace-keeping.  Whatever the circumstances, soldiers are still away from their families, they still die, they still get injured, they still come home with nightmares, they still come up with mental illnesses, they still miss out on so much.

In this war alone, more than 4500 soldiers have died.  More than 4500 families from just this war are grieving and remembering.  Tens of thousands have been physically injured.  No counts on those mentally injured.  More than 600,000 soldiers have served in Iraq & Afghanistan.
