Deidra would love to be homeschooled, but Andy isn't on board with that idea. She's had some struggles this year with some rules at her new school (I really think they're too strict on the kids myself for their ages). I think if anything else happens this year, Andy and I are going to sit down and have a real heart to heart about next year. He really thinks she'd miss the social aspect at school. And he thinks I'm too busy with everything else going around to really give it my best. I do a preschool curriculum with my little ones though and I do it one-on-one, so I think if it came down to it, we could make it work. Anyway, I wish you all the best! So it sounds like you'll do well with it. Especially with her being so young. N was painfully shy and wouldn't participate in ANYTHING, not even talking to the teacher until the last week of the 2nd grade!!! E will thrive with you teaching her. :) You are an excellent Mom!!! I can't imagine anyone better qualified to HS their kids than you! I do hope that it works out to be enjoyable for both of you and that you post about it often. We are lucky to live in a small town with an excellent small public school. Since it's kind of an artist's community, the kids come from some unique backgrounds and the parents tend to be very involved. I am hopeful that we'll still be here when Emma is school aged.
