This & That Upate
Not much time to write but I wanted to do a quick update.
My step-dad started radiation & chemo today. He was feeling good after it, so he went back to work. We’ll see what happens over the next few days. I *think* my mom said he’ll be having it every week, maybe every other week.
We had a nice Easter. Quiet. Ribs for dinner. Yum.
I’ve added some new pictures to our Picasa site. The new ones are ‘another photo shoot’ and then all the ones from ‘woodland park zoo’ and older. Jim has transferred a lot of older pictures onto this computer, so I’ll be adding more in the coming weeks.
Elizabeth is just about potty-trained. And I think it’s going to stick this time. We’ve attempted several other times and she’ll do great for a couple days and then revert back. We’ve been at it a week now and she almost always tells me first or goes to the potty herself. When we go out, she usually wants to wear a diaper. I figure we’ll work on that this week. It’s been a pretty easy process, thankfully.

Wow, E is beautiful, and she looks so much like you, more and more each day. What a precious girl you have there!!
awww sweet pictures!!! Good luck with the potty training, the boys were sooooo easy… i showed L the toilet and said this is where you go. He said, OK. That was it. K peed in his pants 7 times one day, then i spanked him and he was done… N.. ughhh took forever it seemed. Finally bought her some silky panties with a charm bear on the front of them and she hated to get them messed up! It finally worked. Had to get them from the juniors department at JCP i think. What a chore! LOL Good luck.
SO cool about the near potty training! Rock on!
It’ll be wonderful when you and Jim start trying for baby #2, to have only one diaper to change! hehe
I’m glad that it has been an easy process for E. Please send good vibes our way for this summer!
I love your new template. Oh, and I’m laughing *so* hard at myself … up above, I thought that it said “One-Night-Stand” instead of “On My Nightstand!” LOL!!!
I wish your stepfather much luck with the chemo and radiation, and that all continues to go well. I’m happy to hear that he was feeling okay afterward, chemo side-effects can be really, really nasty!!
Now, off to check out pics!
Have a good day!
Giggle….E DOES look a lot like you! Little girls are just SO cute with their new dresses, playing dress-up and all.
With both M and R, I did the M&M reward system, and it seemed to help. After they did potty on the toilet, I gave them a couple of M&Ms for a job well done! Of course with that, you open up all kinds of issues with candy, but hey, bribery helps, hehe!
