You know those days where you’re speaking but you aren’t sure anyone is actually hearing your words?? That was me yesterday at Dunkin’ Donuts. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a plain toasted bagel & a dozen glazed yeast munchkins. So she hands me the bagel & a dozen glazed whole dougnuts. I repeat my order and, after a few seconds of a blank stare, and she comes back with two dozen chocolate cake munchkins. I repeat my order AGAIN, again she gives me a blank stare and then she comes back with 50 glazed yeast munchkins and says “I finally got it right”. Was my order really THAT complicated???! LOL At that point, I gave up and just took the 50 munchkins. My sanity was close to being pushed over the edge. Esp. after she joked after the third attempt that her brain wasn’t working right. Ya’ got that right, lady.
I think it was a good hint that I shouldn’t be going to DD!

I hear ya sister! I think it’s a sign of the fast food restaurants in general…our orders are never right.

So how many donuts did you end up taking home with you?!?! I used to have problems with my drive through donut spot but never to that extent. Hope you were able to enjoy whatever you ended up with.

I’m sorry that you’ve been going through a rough time emotionally lately. Know that I’m here if you ever need to talk. Dunkin’ Donuts … oh, how I love thee! LOL!
Sucks when places don’t listen and don’t get your order right, though. I *love* their vanilla chai, but their white hot chocolate is *way* too sweet for me!
