How COOL is this picture???! Man, technology amazes me!!
I decided to pick a winter template that reflects what I will NOT be seeing here in Georgia!! Its so hard to get into the Christmas spirit when you’ve been tempted to turn on the A/C because of the high humidity. :( Its supposed to cool off this weekend, though.
Its been a busy week. We have been out every day. Today we were out for more than six hours running errands. Elizabeth did SO well with it (part of that time included a nap in the car)! It wasn’t too long ago that I had to limit myself to two, three if I wanted to push it, stops at a time before she started melting down. Our last stop included a run to the Christmas tree stand so I could get a wreath for the door. I bought some teeny-tiny lights at Michael’s and strung them through the wreath. It looks SO beautiful! I’ve never had a live wreath on my door, so this is nice. And I just read that a local group is giving free live trees to military families Wednesday! I’m not entirely sure how I’ll get it home but I’ll figure it out, I suppose. Supply is limited, so E & I will head out Wed. morning early, I guess. Its been years since I’ve had a real tree. I wanted to get one this year a) because my goods aren’t here yet and b) just because. But I didn’t want to spend the money. Now I don’t have to!!
Hope that things go smoothly getting your tree. We have gotten a real one every year that we have been married and there is nothing quite like the smell and the feel. And the mess afterwards but it is worth it in my opinion. And good for you and Elizabeth getting all those errands run.
LOL — did you know that Tonya has the same picture on her blog. You are back to back on my blog list (alphabetical you know) and I got confused briefly. It is a beautiful picture but it makes me cold to look at.
