There will come a day when you will look at E and say… “Ma doesnt’ live here anymore” as she’s screaming about something she wants or NNNNNEEEEDDDSSSS!!!!!! LOL It is sweet hearing it though in the beginning. OK, it’s still sweet sometimes, when my 16 year olds call me Mommy or Momma, rather than Mom. And my 13 year old calls me Mommy… i love it still! LOL

Congratulations. That is such a great milestone. But like Jen I too have days when I have told my kids, particularly Cassidy, that Mama has left the building.

LOL! I can defnitely foresee a day where I’ll be saying the same thing! But with her speech delay problems and the hard work we’ve been doing, right now I’m savoring it.

Yes, I got a LOVE YOU! Oh my. The tears came tumbling out. We have worked so hard on DD’s speech apraxia that every word is amazing. And she’s had a language explosion the past two weeks. But nothing prepared me for that first love you. And unprompted at that. She has her next appointment on Tuesday and I can’t wait for her therapist to hear all the new words. [...]
